【New Product】UC83EXT-L (40X) (spinning rod)Sold Out

For those who find the 83EXT-HM too powerful. This expedition rod solves rod length issues and power deficiencies.Of course, it’s comfortable for everyday use too. While multi-piece rods are commonplace, we’ve determined that their casting feel and overall performance are significantly inferior. With current rod manufacturing technology and materials, while more sections might suffice for basic fishing needs, we judge that achieving comfort and conveying the rod’s full potential is impossible, hence settling on a 2-piece design.
The 83 model fits into compact rod cases and can be placed on airport baggage carousels.
In terms of power rods, think of it as comparable to the 10.3β–96PH range.
It features titanium guides. The butt section starts with RV. The material is a high-grade 40x main shaft.
It casts everything from minnows to 100g class plugs. I’d say it comfortably handles around 12cm F minnows. For sinking pencils, it should handle even smaller sizes. It also handles larger plugs, giving it a very wide range. A 6000-size reel is standard. While an 8000 can be used, it lacks the lightness, so it’s a bit questionable. I use a Certate SW6000. PE3 is standard. While 2.5-4 can be used, 3 is probably best. The rear grip length is almost the same as the 11ft 2S. The fore section is slightly longer, comparable to a GT rod. The handling is set longer, at 83.
In short, this rod targets decent-sized amberjack from rocky shores, handles seabass, and is also suitable for MT (small GT). It pairs well with tapered leaders.
Target species include big bait large seabass, red seabass, light GT, tropical fish in general, bonito, tuna, large striped seabass, amberjack, etc.
